Gen 15:7
God called Abram out of Ur of the Chaldeans to a new life in a distant land. Abram had not yet seen the fulfillment of God's promises. Isaac had not been born, and Abram and Sarai were past childbearing years. Yet Abram believed God. He recognized that the Lord was faithful and trustworthy. When we know God as Abram did, we accept his promises as certain. Rejoice in the power of the Lord, for he is able to bring about all that he has promised.

Prayer and Praise
GREAT, Lord of heaven and earth, we bow down in worship to you alone, for only you can fulfill all that you have promised. Your many saving acts have kept us from danger and death. Let us hold fast to your promises, for they reflect your faithful nature. Glory to you, O Lord. Amen
