Gen 1:1
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This is the first truth the Bible teaches. The first chapter of Genesis allows us to glimpse the love, imagination, and power of God. Out of nothing, God spoke the universe into being and fashioned it into his creation. His creation continues to reflect his glory and will do so until all things pass away. Let us praise God, the author of life, who created us in his image and for his pleasure.

Prayer and Praise
Creator God, your work is evident everywhere. Your creation sings of your power and glory. We pray that the testimony around us, from the smallest atom to the deepest sea, will continue to remind us of your creative purpose in all things. May your name be praised always. Amen.
