The Holy Spirit University (HSU) is a Christian inter-denominational University, teaching the Word of God in Academic way to equip people of God for the work of ministry reaching out all the needs of human beings. Holy Spirit University is not associated with any ministry, organization, group or denomination. HSU is Christ-centered, Bible-based and unapologetically evangelical. HSU is offering degrees from Diploma to Doctrate in various majors in bilengual-Arabic and English language, helping people to be qualified for the work of ministry. HSU is highly fully accredited from the Major three commissions of accreditations, national and international. Holy Spirit University holds to a Doctrinal Statement that is Christ-centered and Bible-based. Because we are a trans-denominational, faith based institution, we realize that our students may hold theological and doctrinal positions not contained in the HSU Doctrinal Statement, even though they consider such positions to be of high priority. This is perfectly acceptable so long as such positions do not directly conflict with the basic core Doctrinal Statement of HSU. This may have implications when completing certain theologically oriented courses. The Holy Spirit University (HSU) was affiliated with Florida Theological Seminary (FTS) in Orlando, Florida since 1998 with the help of Dr. Harold L. Shindoll (Now he is with the Lord). Then it became independent University in June 2004. In time, enrollment interest from various parts of the country virtually compelled the establishment of an extension/distance directed studies program in which the instruction portion of each course is given via video, audio, or in a few cases, via proctored direction. Soon, inquiries began coming from local churches desiring distance learning. Numerous Distance Learning students are enrolling, both in the U.S.A. and various other countries and continents, as a result of the ever-increasing realization by ministers, ministry associations, denominations, as well as individual believers of the great need for proper Biblical training and spiritual development in these last days in which questionable and heretical doctrine, deception, and false spirituality abound. Fourteen Statements of Fundamental Truths

(1) The Scriptures Inspired
The Scripture, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2Tim.3:15-17: 1Thess.2:13; 2Peter1:21)

(2) The One True God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I Am,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Ghost (deut.6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew28:19; Luke3:22).

(3)The deity of the lord Jesus Christ
The lord Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:
a) His virgin birth (Matthew 1: 23; Luke1: 31, 35).
b) His sinless life (Hebrew 7: 26; 1Peter2: 22).
c) His miracles (Acts2: 22; 10: 38).
d) His miracles (Acts 2:22; 10:38).
e) His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28: 6; Luke 24: 39; 1Cor.15: 4).
f) His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9,11; 2:33: Philippians 2:9 -11; Hebrews1-3).

(4) The Fall of Man
Man was created good and upright; for God said, “ Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (genesis1: 26,27; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).

(5) The Salvation of Man
Man’s only Hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

a) Condition to Salvation
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward The Lord Jesus Christ. By the Washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, being justified by grace through faith, man became an heir of God according to hope of eternal life (Luke 24:47; John3:3; Romans 10: 13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Titus2:11; 3:5-7).

b) The Evidences of Salvation:
The inward evidence of Salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Rom.8: 16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Eph.4: 24; Tit.2: 12).

(6) The Ordinances of the Church
a) Baptism in Water
The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures.
All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized.
thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Mark16: 16; Acts 10:47, 48; Romans 6:4).

b) Holy Communion
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements - bread and the fruit of the vine - is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2Peter 1:4) a memorial of His suffering and death (1Cor.11:26) and a prophecy of His second coming (1cor.11:26) and is enjoined on all believers "till He Comes."

(7) The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. This was the normal of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke24: 49; Act 1:4-8; 1Cor. 12:1-31). With the baptism in the Holy Ghost come such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39; Acts 4:8), a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:43; Heb.12: 28), an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work (Act 2:42), and a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the Lost (Mark 16:20).

(8) Sanctification
Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God (Rom.12: 1,2; 1Thess. 5:23; Heb.13: 12). The Scriptures teach a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. (Heb.12: 14). By the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command: “ Be ye holy, for I am holy.” (1Peter1: 15,16).
Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit. (Rom.6: 1-11, 13; Rom.8: 1,2,13; Gal. 2:20; Phil. 2:12, 13; 1Peter 1:5)

(9) The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appoints for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Assembly of the First-born, which are written in heaven (Ephesians 1:22; Heb.12: 23).

(10) The Ministry
Our Lord has provided a divinely called and scriptural ordained ministry for a twofold purpose:
1) The evangelization of the world, and
2) The edifying if the Body of Christ (Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13).

(11) Divine Healing
Divine Healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah53: 4,5; Matt. 8:16,17; James 5:14-16).

(12) The Blessed Hope
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church (1Thess. 4:16, 17; Romans 8:23; Titus2: 13; 1Cor. 15:51).

(13) The Final Judgment &
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angles, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to ever lasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Matt.25: 46; Mark9: 43-48; Rev.19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8).

(14) The New Heavens and the New Earth:

We, according to His promise, look for new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2Peter 3:13; Rev.21: 22).

The message of the Holy Spirit University is strictly spiritual. Although it offers advanced accredited educational degrees, the main goal is to introduce the body of Christ (The Church) to the knowledge of God through His living Word.

Fifteen years ago, God has given Rev. Dr. Nabil Asaad, a great vision about the establishment of a spiritual base, functioning like a satellite whom radiant waves are spread all over the world in such a way that no power could stop the diffusion of its waves. Consequently, God is providing a great spiritual base from which ministers – men of faith – are hatched out, and great ministries are radiating over the Arab world with Jesus glory and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Nabil Asaad was given a heavenly vision, as he distinctly saw words of light coming down from heaven and saying: "Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you … No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life … Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:3,5,9)

This vision was actually followed by a previous one in which, being in a state of unconsciousness, he was fighting Satan to conquer him victoriously. Consequently, Go has revealed to Pastor Nabil Asaad to establish what he calls "Minister’s Factory" to graduate spiritual leaders similar to “The Men of Faith” mentioned in” he Cloud of Witnesses” in Hebrews Chapter eleven.

In 1991, this vision obviously came to light when God has put into the Pastor’s heart to establish the “Arabic Assembly of God Church”. He gave him the actual church building in 1994 in New Jersey, USA. Then, in 1997 and miraculously his spiritual dream came to be true; he was greatly encourage by God’s generous blessings a sixty beautiful lawn and wooded acres, a "Christian retreat Center" named as "Holy Spirit Mountain". "Up there in Catskills New York, the revelation is fulfilled (1997 - 2010). Then in the year 2004 God blessed the ministry with bigger Church buildings in Elizabeth, New Jersey (2004 - 2010). In the same year 2004 the Holy Spirit University is established. Then on 2014 started the church on Air, The Central Arabic Assembly of God Church, which is live on satellite TV covering the whole earth using Al Kalema TV (Founded on 2009).

The HSU is non-denominative University, not limited to a specific denomination, as we believe that Jesus likes neither division nor splitting or differentiation and therefore attracts his sons, Saints and chosen from every denomination. The HSU welcomes anybody who is born again. This is the main requirement to join the University.

HSU target is to prepare God's word ministers, leaders, apostles, prophets, evangelists, and teacher all over the world. "For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters Cover the Sea" (Isaiah 11:9) "Because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the lord." (Jeremiah 31:34).

A tremendous effort has been made by Dr. Nabil Asaad and his fellow assistants in ministry with other theology professors in order to lay the foundation of the seminary through its curriculum and ways of teaching, pays great attention to touch primarily the right and direct understanding of God’s word, not to mention the importance of good behaviors and manners in order to graduate godly men and women. In 2001 the seminary became Holy Spirit University (HSU).

The HSU also is being using the most recent ways of education and teaching in order to prepare ready leaders up to the level of the great revival, which is now around the corner and before the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ to whom be glory for ever, Amen.

Accreditation is the act of certifying that an educational institution maintains suitable standards; the granting of approval to an institution of learning by an official review board after the school has met certain requirements. Specifically, accreditation is the review of a school's course offerings and procedures by a group of its peers to certify that that school is meeting its own stated objectives and offering its students the education it promises them. Authorization for ecclesiastical educational entities not issuing secular degrees is not acquired through the same state and federal agencies through which secular educational institutions acquire authorization. The primary reason for this is the U.S. Constitutional matter of the separation of Church and State. The secular authorization system essentially grants regulatory oversight of the curriculum offered by educational institutions authorized by it. The consensus of the vast majority of Christian parochial educational institutions offering Biblically based education and theological training is that curricular authorization for such Christian vocational educational institutions cannot be properly assessed by secular agencies, and that Christian vocational educational institutions have a U.S. Constitutional right to establish their curriculum according to their own particular doctrinal convictions. Many Christian vocational educational institutions, including HSU, are of the firm conviction that authorization through recognized Christian vocational educational agencies is vitally important and that Christian vocational authorization should be established in order to insure proper standards of academic excellence. Dr. Nabil Asaad

Dr Nabil Asaad, BA, BS, MBS, ThD. and PhD, in New Jersey, founded Holy Spirit University in 1998 under the name of Holy Spirit Theological Seminary (As School of Theology). In 2001, while already under the new administration, it became Holy Spirit University (HSU). It continues in compliance with State of Florida requirements to be a University and to award degrees from the Associates to the Doctors.

The establishment of the seminary was because of the love, help and direction of Dr. Harold L. Shindoll, the founder and former president of Florida Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Also with all the appreciation to Dr. Anthony B. Portigliatti the president and chancellor of Florida Christian University in Orlando, Florida.

The HSU was affiliated with FTS & FCU in Orlando, Florida since 1998. Then become independent University in June 2004. In time, enrollment interest from various parts of the country virtually compelled the establishment of an extension/distance directed studies program in which the instruction portion of each course is given via video, audio, or in a few cases, via proctored direction. Soon, inquiries began coming from local churches desiring distance learning. Numerous Distance Learning students are enrolling, both in the U.S.A. and various other countries and continents, as a result of the ever-increasing realization by ministers, ministry associations, denominations, as well as individual believers of the great need for proper Biblical training and spiritual development in these last days in which questionable and heretical doctrine, deception, and false spirituality abound. All our courses are available in both English and Arabic (To cover the whole world include all twenty two Arab nations).

Is HSU required to observe civil rights laws where they exist? Yes. HSU does not discriminate because of race and keep the law of the land above anything. Are all Christian Institute, Seminaries, Universities and Collages the same? No. Not all of them the same. The Christian universities and seminaries has many and different purposes. Is this school you are going to choose is accredited? What kind of Accreditation they have. There are several groups who accredit for different reasons. What language, method of learning, academic standard they have? Accrediting Commission International exists to help the Religious World to obtain accreditation that is not government affiliated. If you carefully study our full catalog you will discover Why HSU is the right university you need to spend your next few years studding with us. Are there any residency requirements? No, HSU is a 100% distance learning – online study university. You do all of your coursework from home by correspondence or online! Can I buy a degree without studding for I have a lot of qualifications? No. There are no such degrees for sale. And also there is no such life experience replaces the academic learning standards. Do all schools and universities who are accredited by Accrediting Commission International (ACI) accept credits from HSU? Yes. One of ACI requirements is that member schools and university (Which are now 320 Schools in 39 States in USA and in 9 countries in the world) accept credits from HSU if they apply to their programs. Do other schools outside ACI accreditation receive HSU credits? This depends. Some schools, state governments, and industries have accepted credits etc. because of HSU membership with ACI. But HSU makes no guarantee outside ACI membership. Do you accept credit transfers? Yes. You may receive up to 25% of the credits for your bachelor’s degree and graduate degrees. See our Catalog for full details. Do you hold a graduation exercise on campus? We have held a few impromptus graduations in the past, however, at this time we have elected not to have a published annual graduation exercise. This keeps us in concert with the fact that we do not have residency requirements and many of our students could not find the time nor find the funds to attend. Do you offer a student visa to the foreign students? No. HSU has no such privilege to offer or to help getting any kind of visa or immigration for students because they studies by distance (By Correspondence or Online). Do you offer financial aid? Yes, in a sense of helping to cut the cost. (Review the section Financial Aid in the catalog for more details). But we do not have any kind of government financial aids. But we recommend for each student to get someone or some church to help you and support you and may sponsor your Christian education (Please review the section of Financial). Do your classes qualify for GI Bill reimbursement? We do not qualify for military benefits at this time. However, we do offer a 10% military discount on tuition to current service members and veterans to show our appreciation for the sacrifice they have made for our country. Does accreditation make a school "above the law of the land" ? No. ACI members are encouraged to work in the bounds of the laws of the country or state where they live. Does HSU accept life experience credit? Yes. You may receive up to 25% of the credits for your bachelor’s. No life experience be given for graduate degrees. See our Catalog for full details. The associate and bachelor degrees are $ 60.00 per credit hour. The Master degree is $ 70.00 per credit hour. And the Doctoral Degree is $ 80.00 per credit hour. Each course is 3 credit hours. Also you can visit our catalog for full financial aid. If you plan on taking courses one at a time, the average three-credit course costs about $180.00. How much time will I need to spend on campus to earn my degree? Since we are a totally distance learning seminary, you do not need to spend any time on campus for residency requirements. Having to travel and spend time away from home is a difficult thing to do for our adult students. Most students have a job and family and cannot make the trip for time and monetary reasons. This feature is our niche. Is HSU accredited ? Yes, HSU is fully privately accredited with the highest accreditation associations and agents available in the world. HSU is certified member with the Florida Council of Private Colleges, Inc. (FCPC). HSU is also, a candidate for accreditation of the largest accreditation commission in the world with a network of over 320 university, institute, colleges, and seminaries. May be some course materials need to be shipped to you. Then you will be able to correspond with your instructor online, or by any other method you choose. You may also submit your coursework online and/or via email. But, the costs vary according to the degree you are intending to earn, the life experience, the degrees you already have and other factors. According to the Bottom Line Magazine; the comparative costs for a Bachelor's Degree in a private college is US$100, 000 and the cost in a State college is US$50,000 and the cost in HSU is only US$7,560.
